Introduction
Daniel returned from America to Vietnam to participate in everyday life in remote villages. He foraged for botanicals, ate local delicacies and drank homemade spirits in the Northern Highlands. He stayed among minority tribes and came to understand the characteristic subtleties of the region in order to tell the story of Vietnam through the country’s unique spirits.
